Since out negotiations in 2005, in which a “Letter of Assurance” concerning the incentive program in which the company agrees to “correct and fix” issues in the program no later than Jan. 30th 2006.

There is still no change to this date. In this time however the company has managed to abuse the existing wording to no end. There are currently 6 grievances in the system just on this article alone. They range from not paying the incentive on time, to refusing to pay certain times at all, for whatever reason they feel just. The memberse have just about had it, they feel they are being robbed.

We have learned in the past, that we cannot take the companies word on things, so when we got it in writing we took it as a positive sign. Wow were we wrong!

I guess it just goes to show how far some people will go to screw the workforce out of what should be rightfully theirs.

Business has slowed down now and 10 members have received long-term layoff notices.
