| History: Founded in North America in 1969, originally known as John Coutts Library Services. Purchased by BMBC in 2000, renamed Coutts Information Services, with offices in the UK, US and Canada. Coutts acquired Martnus Nijhoff in 2002 and assets of Farries Library services and Franklin books. In December 2006 Coutts along with Myi Library became a business of Ingram Industries. Located in Niagara Falls, Coutts celebrated 32 years of service last year. Coutts Library service is a major North American library supplier which specializes in providing books and services to research, academic and special libraries. Their sales representatives are located throughout North America, to provide individual services and assistance to Coutts' customers throughout the world. Coutts employs approximately 93 union members. The Canadian office is the only unionized workplace, however, since signing the contract, the American office located in Niagara Falls N.Y. did receive some of the benefits. Great news! |

| Products: Coutts provides books and electronic content to more than 5,000 organizations libraries and universities in over 150 countries. Coutts provides a wide range of books published in North America and the United Kingdom and related services to schools, universities, libraries and book stores. As well, numerous publications are supplied to major research libraries and hospitals worldwide. Other services Coutts Library provides include binding, catalogue cards, dust jackets, book pockets and cards. In short, facilities needing books and related services place the order and Coutts acquires them from the publishers, then processes and ships the order. Call them "book jobbers". |

| History: Originally known as McKinnon’s Industries, this bargaining unit has a long history in St. Catharines which dates back to the early 1900’s. In 1936, two days after Local 195 was organized, Local 199 joined the UAW ranks and became the second UAW local union organized in Canada. The first contract was signed in 1937. |

| Products: GM St. Catharines has made the largest variety of products in any GM plant world wide. Products have ranged from horse and buggy parts, wartime munitions and vehicles, radios, spark plugs, brakes, axles and forgings and foundry castings. GM St Catharines currently produces forgings, radiator assemblies, engines and transmission components.

| History: G.R. Wool first opened in 1951, the name was changed to Genaire Ltd. and was unionized by the UAW in 1959. Genaire has two plants, Plant One is located on Highway 55 St Catharines and Plant two is located in Niagara on the Lake. At one time Genaire employed 175 unionized employees, currently there are 42. |

| Products: Genaire manufactures and repairs a variety of products. Sheet Metal repair and manufacture cargo pallets and build/repair aircraft skies. Radome Department - We repair all Radomes (radar nose cones on aircraft) for DND. Fuel Cells We repair DND fuel cells for use in the F-18; Hercules; T-33; Labrador; and Aurora aircrafts. Ground Handling – DND repairs including hydraulic pumps, jacks, test stands, maintenance platforms, tow bars and other ground handling equipment. Hydraulic Department – DND repairs on Lord Mount – Brakes for the Hercules aircraft; pumps & electrical cables for aircraft skies, and rigging cables for skies. Aircraft Welders - We have 2 welders, one of which is government certified. Crater/Packager – We build all our own crates for parts and equipment being shipped out.

| History: Pinkerton Security of Canada is a subsidiary of one of the largest security corporations in the world called Securitas, which is headquartered in Sweden. |

| Products: The officers, both male and female are trained in fire fighting and first aid response and are responsible for all air testing of confined spaces. They must monitor the movement of all truck traffic and visitors who enter and exit the facilities and they form the buffer zone between G.M. employee and management disputes. The officers are sworn to uphold the rules, regulations and policies of General Motors and to implement them. They are licensed by the Ontario Provincial Police. Until 1993, they were in-house, or G.M. Corporate Security Officers, however, the worldwide security measures were contracted out. There are 49 fulltime and 9 part time unionized Security Officers who are employed at the General Motors facilities in St. Catharines. The average wage for fulltime officers is inclusive of C.O.L.A. and all benefits and pensions that mirror the “big three” packages. |

| History: In a small garage on Seneca Street, St Catharines. Seneca manufacturing was established in the late 1950’s by brothers Walter and John Pentesco Seneca was incorporated and moved to Niagara On the Lake in 1962. In February of 1991 60 percent of the plant was destroyed and leveled by a fire. The plant was rebuilt with modern equipment in both the press shop and the tool room. Seneca has been a member unit of Local 199 since 1974. This QS Certified shop has been family owned for 30 years. There are approximately 23 unionized members, press operators and toolmakers. |

| Products: High quality metal stampings such as automotive steering and chassis suspension parts, also make railcar air breaks, auto driveline. They supply 60% auto parts and 40% non-automotive parts. Seneca Manufacturing is a supplier to Dana, TRW, Ford, and Lenforder. |
