Women's Committee Report Feb 2011
The Women's Committee hosted the commemorative breakfast honouring the young women who were killed in the Montreal Massacre on December 6, 1989. This event was a great success and we would like to thank all those who attended. This event is growing every year. More men attended to support this cause and for that we thank you! We look forward to the day when events such as this no longer are held.
Violence against women must stop! We as a union with education in our communities will ensure violence in all forms will end!

The Committee is actively working together to put forth the "best" International Women's Day Fair ever. We have an array of guest speakers and activities set. Daycare for those who may need it at a nominal charge. This will be an exciting and fun event. Please join us. More information will follow through leaflets into our plants.
